These are my holiday photo's. Due to the large number of photo's, they're only shown in a small size. Anyone interested in a full-sized copy of a photo can drop me an e-mail. My e-mail address is listed at the bottom of this page.
During this holiday I attended a single day of the photography course that my sister Rose was following. The photos I took during that day can be found on this page (the page is in Dutch).
These pictures were taken in the Dordogne region. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good. That's why a lot of the pictures are quite dark.

| Small but cheap. This was the chamber of the Formule 1 hotel were we slept on the way to our first destination. | A view of the river running through Montignac. We went there to get tickets for a visit to the Lascaux II cave. Unfortunately it was not allowed to take photo's inside. |

| The Pont du Gard; a Roman aquaduct from around 19 b.C. | It dwarfs us humans. Amazing that it's still in such a good shape after all that time. (although it has been restored [maybe several times?]) |

| One of the more impressive original gates of Avignon, cut out from the rock, and guarded by the papal palace. | On our last night on the camping near Avignon, there was a magnificent fireworks display, which had been postponed from 14 Juillet due to too much wind. Since it was fired from the quay adjacent to the camping, we had a very good view of it all. |
